I was browsing photos in my hard drive to find my 2008 Hong Kong trip december photos. Was lucky enough to experience what i believe as Hong Kong’s first Gay Pride.

I joined the crowd at causeway bay area, but didn’t follow the marching towards the stage, which turn out included a quite tacky & raunchy go-go dance performance:

I might find this entertaining at clubs, but not at public stage at daytime! Fierce drag queens performing mash-up killer tracks & other fresh creative performance might be better.

Indonesia’s still a far cry for accommodating festive queer public event like this.
